Savannah Slaten
Company Dancer
Born and raised in Oak Park, Illinois, Savannah Slaten began her ballet journey at the tender age of three. Initially training at her local park district, she soon found her true artistic home at Légere Dance Center, where she dedicated 12 years to honing her craft. Her extensive training spans multiple dance disciplines, including ballet, pointe, contemporary, Graham technique, jazz, and tap. Savannah’s commitment and talent shone brightly in Ballet Légere’s annual production of “The Nutcracker,” in which she performed for 11 consecutive years.
A classically trained ballet dancer in the Cecchetti method, Savannah has successfully passed seven rigorous student exams, demonstrating her technical prowess and dedication to the art form. This season marks her exciting debut with the Montgomery Ballet and her first professional engagement. Eager to embrace the professional dance world, Savannah looks forward to growing artistically and collaboratively with her fellow company members.
