Kristen Allen

Kristin Allen lives in Prattville, Alabama, with her husband and four daughters. She is originally from Cromwell, MN, where she lived before joining the Air Force and moving to Montgomery, Alabama, to work on Maxwell AFB and then on Gunter AFB at the Senior Noncommissioned Officers Academy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management and a Master’s in Business Administration. She spent time working as a care taker and events coordinator at Buena Vista Mansion where she made sure tours were given by tour guides in period costumes. Kristin has always loved to sew, but started taking it seriously as her four daughters grew older, and as every ballerina does, they wanted beautiful tutus to dance in. Kristin jumped in with both feet and has been through several classes on designing, constructing, and fitting tutus. She brings an unmatched enthusiasm to everything she does. There is always something exciting happening in our costume shop!
