Savannah Norwood

Savannah Norwood is originally from Southeastern Wisconsin. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Saint Francis with degrees in Dance and Physical Therapist Assistant Studies. Savannah is a licensed and actively practicing physical therapist assistant in the state of Alabama with special interest in treating the dance population and neurologic conditions. She received her dance training from the age of three through high school graduation at Lake Shore Dance in Port Washington, WI. There she trained in a variety of styles, joined their studio company, and danced competitively on their pre-professional team. She also was on student faculty at Lake Shore Dance teaching technique classes and choreographing beginning at age sixteen. Upon high school graduation, Savannah moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana to pursue studying dance with a focus in ballet at the Fort Wayne Ballet Conservatory at the University of Saint Francis. Through this partnership between the University and Fort Wayne Ballet, Savannah was able to train alongside their school and professional company and perform various roles in The Sleeping Beauty, Spooktacular, and The Nutcracker, as well as choreograph works on her fellow classmates. She received further training through summer intensives at Aria Ballet Intensive, Joffrey Ballet New York, Milwaukee Ballet, and Fort Wayne Ballet. Savannah is excited to be joining Montgomery Ballet this season!
