Emmaleese Wetterling

Emmaleese Wetterling is a Texas native, born and raised in Austin, where her lifelong dream of becoming a ballerina became a reality at the age of seven. She began her training at Dance to Glory Academy of Austin, spending seven years building a strong foundation in ballet, pointe, tap, and modern dance, alongside early exposure to drama. In 2021, she transferred to ONE Academy of Dance to pursue a pre-professional ballet track, where she expanded her repertoire into jazz, contemporary, and character dance.

It was at ONE Academy that Emmaleese discovered her deep affinity for the Cecchetti method. She successfully passed her student exams through Grade 5 and has since earned her Cecchetti Grade 1 teacher’s certification. Her performance credits include featured roles in Giselle, Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, Coppélia, The Nutcracker, and Cinderella.

Beyond her own training, Emmaleese is a dedicated educator with three years of teaching experience, working with students ages 3 to 18. She has also choreographed for full-scale productions, including The Nutcracker and Cinderella. She looks forward to continuing both her performance and teaching careers.

Emmaleese is delighted to join Montgomery Ballet for the upcoming season.
