Ballet I/II Combined
Ages (7-12)
Montgomery Ballet has adopted a combined class model, following the example of many world-renowned ballet schools. This approach promotes teamwork, mentorship, and peer learning among students. Ballet I/II is a combined class for all registered Ballet I and Ballet II students. Ballet I students attend class twice weekly—once with their Ballet II peers in the combined class and once in their own designated Ballet I session. Ballet II students train three times a week—once in their own class, once alongside Ballet I, and once in a class mentored by Ballet III. This tiered structure creates a supportive and collaborative learning environment where younger dancers are inspired by more advanced students, and older students strengthen their leadership skills.
