Tara Glazebrook

Tara Blazebrook is a young classical ballet artist joining Montgomery Ballet for her first season. A native of the Gulf Coast, she began her ballet training at the age of eight with Pensacola Youth Ballet, studying for a decade under the guidance of Michael Wardlaw and Mackenzie Bennett. To complement her foundational training, she has received ten years of private instruction from renowned teacher Bobby Biggs, as well as extensive training at Mobile Ballet under Sydney Adams, Israel Rodriguez, and Katia Garza.

Ms. Blazebrook has distinguished herself through a trajectory of rapid artistic growth, moving from corps and character roles to principal leading roles. Her performance credits with Pensacola Youth Ballet and Mobile Ballet include a wide repertoire, from The Nutcracker—where she has performed the roles of Rat, Mirliton, Mother Ginger, Arabian Corps, Spanish Corps, Russian Corps, and Snow Corps—to the coveted title role of Clara (2021) and the technically demanding role of Dewdrop (2024). Most recently, she performed the iconic Sugar Plum Fairy in The Nutcracker (2025).

Ms. Blazebrook is an accomplished competitor on the international stage, having competed multiple times at Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP). Her YAGP repertoire showcases her classical versatility, featuring the Sleeping Beauty Act 3 variation, the Black Swan variation (2025), the Lilac Fairy variation, Swan Pas de Quatre (2024), and La Esmeralda (2026). She has supplemented her training through prestigious summer intensives with Mobile Ballet (2024), Florida State University School of Dance (2023), and The Art of Movement Intensive (2022).

Now entering her first season with Montgomery Ballet, Tara is eager to continue her artistic development, embrace new repertoire, and bring her passion for classical ballet to the Montgomery community.
