Anna Coghill
Anna Coghill is a professional ballet artist currently in her first season with Montgomery Ballet. A native of Greensboro, North Carolina, Miss Coghill began her dance education at the age of three at The School of Greensboro Ballet, establishing a strong foundation in classical technique over twelve years of dedicated study.
Miss Coghill’s professional trajectory has been shaped by intensive training at some of the nation’s most prestigious institutions. She is a former trainee of the Joffrey Ballet Pre-Professional Year Round Training Program in Dallas, Texas, where she studied under Ceyhun Oszoy. She has also attended distinguished summer intensives with American Ballet Theatre (Tuscaloosa) and Joffrey Ballet (New York and Athens).
She is a long-time participant of the Burklyn Ballet Theatre Performing Intensive in Johnson, Vermont (2019–2025), where she had the honor of performing internationally with the Burklyn Ballet Performance Group at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
Prior to her appointment at Montgomery Ballet, Miss Coghill served as a company member with Savannah Ballet Theatre for four seasons under the direction of Suzanne Braddy. There, she distinguished herself in leading roles, most notably as Clara in the company’s annual production of The Nutcracker. Alongside her performance career, Miss Coghill has contributed to dance education as an instructor for the Children’s Ballet program at Savannah Ballet School.
